The South Indian actor turns 30
Trisha was born on May 4, 1983. It’s a milestone birthday for her, as she prepares to blow out 30 candles on her birthday cake today.
What’s more, the lovely and talented actor completed a decade in films recently, proving her staying power in an industry where new heroines seem to be appearing on the scene ever so frequently. But Trisha holds her own and is in demand for the value and star power she brings to all her films.
The actor, who made her entry into films in 2002 with Mounam Pesiyadhe, opposite Suriya has risen on the rankings, both in terms of her popularity and the number of hits to her name. Trisha’s best performances have been in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Athadu, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule and Krishna in Telugu and in films such as Ghilli, Abhiyum Naanum and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya in Tamil.
She’s currently working on Boologam with Jayam Ravi and in the heroine-centric RUM.
Known to strike a fine work-life balance, finding time for her passions such as travel and animals, Trisha is one fabulous achiever. What’s more, she seems happy with her single status right now.
